Corrections

If something here is wrong, this is the most valuable message you can send. Include the page and, if you have one, the source that contradicts it. Corrections are reviewed against the primary source and, where material, noted on the page itself.

Sourcing enquiries

If you are trying to source apparel, textiles or components and want to know what is realistic — or you want help finding the right kind of manufacturer — describe the requirement: category, target quantity, destination market and timeline. The more specific the brief, the more useful the answer.

Directory submissions

If you are a manufacturer, mill, supplier or service provider and want a record, write with what you actually do. The record schema and the five verification levels are published in full at the directory — the standard is public before the first record is, which is deliberate.

What to expect

Correction reports are answered first. Sourcing enquiries are answered with a real assessment, which sometimes means being told that what you are asking for is harder or more expensive than you expect. Enquiries that arrive without enough detail to answer will get a question back rather than a generic reply.
