Enquiry
Start an enquiry
Free to send, answered by a person, and specific enough to be useful even if the answer is no.
The short answer
An enquiry is free. Tell us what you want to make, roughly how many, and where you are in the process. We reply within two working days with either a specific answer or an honest statement that we are not the right desk for it. We charge no commission unless we run your order.
What happens next
- You send the form. You get a confirmation page immediately, and the enquiry is recorded.
- We read it and reply within two working days. Usually sooner. The reply comes from a person, to the address you give.
- You get an assessment, not a brochure. That means either a straight answer to what you asked, or a question back if the brief is not yet specific enough to answer — and sometimes it means being told the product, the quantity or the timeline is harder or more expensive than you were expecting.
- Nothing is committed at this stage. An enquiry does not create an order, an obligation, or a fee.
What we need from you
The single most useful thing you can tell us is what you are trying to make — the garment, the quantity you have in mind, and the market it is for. If you already know the fabric or have a tech pack, say so; if you do not, say that too, because it changes the answer.
- What the product is, and anything already fixed about the design
- An approximate quantity, even if it is a range
- Where you are now: researching, designing, or ready to place an order
- The destination country, because duty and freight change the ranking of options
A short, specific enquiry is answered faster than a long, general one. If you are at the very beginning and do not know what to ask, say that — it is the most common enquiry and it is answered properly.
What it costs
Enquiring is free. There is no charge for the assessment, and no charge for asking a follow-up question.
If you then ask us to run production, the fee is a percentage of order value, agreed in writing before anything starts. We do not invoice for goods, and we do not buy on your behalf without your approval at each stage. The full terms are set out on the managed production page when it publishes — until then, ask and we will state the rate before you commit to anything.
What we do not do
Limitations
- We do not guarantee quality, price or delivery dates. We warrant our own work only — that we perform the steps we say we will perform.
- We are not a certification or accreditation body, and we do not audit factories. Those are different services with different legal exposure, and they are not ours.
- We do not take custody of goods. Money and shipments move between you and the maker, not through us.
- We will not recommend a maker simply because we know them. If we do not know one suitable for your product, we will say so.
- We do not publish, sell or share your enquiry. It is read to answer it.
